Concept: Radical Acceptance

This DBT Skill invites you to acknowledge that how things should be is a worthy goal, but that isn’t how things are right now – and we have to deal with right now. We need to Radically Accept what *is* real and what *is* happening, and come up with a now plan, while delaying trying to fix *all of this* to become *what it should be* until we have more resources to start tackling that.

Radicall Acceptance does not mean approval. We can disapprove of what is happening right now, while still acknowledging that it is happening and we should do something about it.
