When we are low on Dopamine, we can use Adrenaline to compensate.
To keep the Adrenaline up, we need to feel that something is urgent, that something needs to be done, that something is threatening or wrong.
That can lead to negative self talk, which looks like horrible self esteem, raging anxiety, and depression.
That can also lead to misperceiving threat and being angry, even aggression (not the same thing).
It can create difficulties sleeping, especially the pre-sleep anxiety.
It can also drive nightmares, self harm and suicidal ideation.
If you are struggling with these, you can get help.
